What I wore: Red Dress for a Summer Date Night

Last Saturday Cris and I had a date night. Well, let’s say that, here in Toronto, in summer, we have clear sky until after 9 pm, so date night is practically a date afternoon.

We went to Watermark restaurant at the Radisson Admiral Hotel, right here on Waterfront. But it was the hottest day of the year (so far).

I wanted to wear something more elegant, but light at the same time because it was too hot and humid. I opted for aForever 21 dress I have had for a long time, but had few opportunities to use.

It has a straight cut, but with a ribbon tied around the waist that helps shape the body. The uniqueness of this dress is due to the lace details and its vibrant red color.
