Toronto has several trails for walking or cycling.
For me they are like a refuge in the big city, since in some we even forget that it is in a city as big as Toronto.
Last Saturday we ventured down the Lower Don Trail, a trail that runs from Waterfront Est toward Evergreen Brick Works Park.
It’s more or less 8.5 km in length on an almost always flat route, ideal for those who want to ride a greater distance, but do not want to make efforts in climbs.
In some sections it follows the railway and in others the Don River, causing the landscape to change at any moment.
It is not very crowded but at different times you meet other cyclists and even some pedestrians.
The trail was closed for 2 years for renovation and was reopened to the public in September 2017, so it is in great condition to be used.
