You post photos on Instagram, but you get frustrated because no one sees them?
You keeps waiting for the number to rise, but it seems like this never happens?
Would you like to have more followers and be an influencer who makes money on Instagram?
Yeah, I know how you feel.
It seems that everyone around us is getting likes and more followers than we are, right?
And then you think: how can they ???
Well, there are honest and dishonest ways of doing that. In this post I'll show you the honest way.
And go for it, it pays to be honest on the Instagram even if you think your numbers are slow to grow.
I followed the steps that I will show you in this post and got my first thousand followers.
Today I have more than 11 thousand followers and already have paid partnerships with brands.
The first thousand are the hardest, but once you get there you will see that it will grow much faster.
Why is it important to grow honestly on Instagram?
The old tactics of buying followers and likes no longer work.
The marketing professionals of the companies are already well trained to analyze Instagram profiles and determine if the numbers are correct or inflated.
So you already know: if they are considering sponsoring you and mistrust (you know, just be suspicious) that you have inflated numbers you will not be hired.
And worse, you will damage your image and hardly have new opportunities in the future.
The good news for those who are honest
Above a sponsored post I posted on my profile.
Nowadays companies value engagement over number of followers. That is, they are much more interested in how much your audience trusts you than in cold numbers.
It's quite simple to understand. Better for the company you have a thousand followers who really like you and will pay attention to the partnerships you make than to have 10 thousand that will never buy anything you say.
So do not obsess about numbers, build lasting relationships.
A thousand followers is a good number to get started
Of course, it's also trickier to get sponsorship if you have only a dozen followers.
The numbers required vary from company to company, but focusing on getting 1,000 followers is a good strategy.
Even because it is a number that you can reach relatively quickly, you will not be discouraged.
And it's also a number that adds authority. People are more interested in profiles with more than a thousand followers.
So how do you aim to reach your first thousand followers?
My tips are here to help you with this!
Photos are the basis of Instagram
Instagram is a social network for sharing ... PHOTOS!
So having good photos is the foundation of success on Instagram. Unfortunately, there is no escape.
But no worries, that does not mean you need professional and perfect photos.
You just need to pay attention to some details that can make all the difference when someone decides whether to follow you or not.
To get started, choose a theme for your feed. When I say theme I mean an aesthetic standard.
Have you visited a profile and marveled because it seemed that the photos matched each other?
So, make that same impact when people get to yours.
A lot of people think that for this it is enough to always use the same filter, but it is not that simple.
Ideally, you should think about your aesthetic before even taking the picture.
For example, there are themes that have a predominance of white. So the photographer can not be taking pictures in environments with many dark elements or where there is no white for the photo.
If you choose predominantly white photos, remember that.
Another trick is to eliminate color from your photos. Few people know, but sometimes what makes photos pair with each other is not to have similar colors but the absence of certain colors.
Well, I could talk a lot more about feed theme, but this post is about several techniques put together. If you want to know more about this, comment below and I write a post specifically on this.
Many people forget that Instagram is a social network and behaves as if it were just to post your photos and wait for the likes.
But not quite. The Instagram algorithm privileges who uses the app as it should be used: to socialize.
What does this mean?
The more you interact with others, the more Instagram will show your photos to them because they will interpret that they are friends and not just followers.
Make it a habit to like photos of those who like yours and also comment on photos of those who leave comments on your profile.
Post often, but not so much
Instagram rewards those who post frequently.
Ideally you post at least once a day but at most 3 times.
If you post too many photos will end up tiring your followers and they will stop following you.
Power up the first few hours
The first few hours of posting a photo are crucial.
That's because, the moment you post them, Instagram begins to analyze whether you are generating interest in your followers.
As it tends to prioritize photos with better engagement, if in the first few minutes you receive many likes and comments, it will show your photos to more users.
If your photo's reception is not good, it will show to a very limited number of people, so you'll have less photo likes.
So whenever you post a new photo, post it on Stories as this will bring more people to your photo, you will get more likes in the first few minutes and then Instagram will show it more.
Reply all comments because your comments also count as comments for Instagram and this number is taken into account in the analysis if a photo should be displayed or not.
Get your audience's attention
To get followers, people need to find out your profile.
One of the most effective ways to make them aware of your existence is to like and comment on their photos, and to follow them.
But the ideal is to do it strategically. It's no use trying to get everyone's attention, you need to get the attention of your audience right.
Think of profiles that look similar to yours and have followers who might interest you. See who are the followers of this profile and enter the profile of each one of them. Like the photos of these people and leave (true!) comments .
This will make them curious to know who you are and when they visit your profile, if you already have a beautiful feed (as we talked at the beginning of this post) there is a great chance they will follow you.
Do this for a few minutes a day for a while and you will see the number of followers grow.
Well, those were the steps I followed, but there are always new strategies coming up.
