You know I love discovering new cafes in Toronto. Also know that if the weather is not very inviting we will run to a cafe or restaurant.
That was what happened last Saturday. The weather was c*****, so we ran for coffee, hehe.
And I will not say that we discovered a new coffee shop because we had already seen this, but never entered. It was from those places that we always say “we need to come here, but today we do not have time”.
Well, the time has come.
The Sud Forno is actually a mix of coffee shop and delicatessen. You can go there to buy tasty little things to eat (bread, cheese, cold cuts, etc.), eat lunch or sit down and pause with a coffee or … now stop everything … tea. Yes, tea, it’s worth it.
I discovered it by accident. Since I had had a lot of coffee that day, I opted for the tea and ended up discovering a new favourite in Toronto.
They serve like this: it comes the tea bag of your choice, the cup and a small jar of hot water for you dosing. Okay, nothing too surprising, but I liked it.
And when I looked to the side I saw that many people had also ordered tea, so it’s proven, it is a place to have tea.
Cris ordered a cold brewed coffee, the famous iced coffee, which is trending now. By the way, I can say it’s his new obsession since he always orders it. It just looks like an ordinary coffee that has been cooled, but it actually has a different technique since it’s actually poured cold.
He said the coffee was good, but the onde from Starbucks is better. My tea was well above average. We agree that the price is very reasonable for the place since the environment is more beautiful than a normal cafeteria
